Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our network contracting team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll guide the development and support of provider networks, as well as unit cost management activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Network Development: Guide the development of geographically competitive, broad access, stable networks including medical groups/IPAs, hospitals and ancillary providers that achieve objectives for unit cost performance and trend management.
- Strategy Development: Develop functional, market level and/or site strategy, plans, production and/or organizational priorities.
- Network Configuration: Apply network configuration and incentive-based payment models as appropriate to improve quality and efficiency.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve technical, operational and organizational problems.
- Leadership: Direct work that impacts entire functions and/or customer accounts (internal or external).
- 5+ years of supervisory level experience in a network management-related role handling complex network providers with accountability for business results while demonstrating solid team leadership.
- 5+ years of experience with provider contracting including assessing contract language changes and managing provider relationships.
- 2+ years of experience analyzing and utilizing financial modeling in making rate and strategic decisions.
- 2+ years of experience managing a medical cost and administrative budget.
- Expert level of knowledge of Hospital and Medical Group contracting including Capitated and fee-for-service Commercial and Medicare arrangements, Medicare Resource Based Relative Value System (RBRVS), DRGs, Ambulatory Surgery Center Groupers, etc.
- Able to attend in-person meetings as needed.
