Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient consultations, taking detailed medical histories and assessing patients' overall health status.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribing medications and therapies as necessary.
  • Implement preventive healthcare strategies, including routine screenings and vaccinations, to promote disease prevention and early detection.
  • Manage patients with chronic conditions, develop personalized care plans, and monitor disease progression.
  • Collaborate with specialists and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient referrals and ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school and New York State licensure.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control Training, with a strong understanding of HIPAA Compliance.
  • Valid DEA Registration and CDL certification, with a strong understanding of FMCSA regulations.
  • Experience in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and a strong understanding of quality improvement initiatives.
