Job Summary

Crescent City Physicians Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician, Gastroenterology to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and medical services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care and treatment to patients, including routine examinations, diagnoses, and treatment for illnesses and injuries.
  • Consult with and supervise clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in a physician call schedule and offer patient meeting slots as deemed necessary.
  • Assist with compliance to safety, environmental, infection control, quality improvement, and other regulatory standards.
  • Implement standard and transmission-based precautions and ensure patient safety during clinic visits.
  • Maintain a clean clinic working environment and report any safety hazards or violations to the clinic manager or designee.
Requirements
  • Completed residency training in Gastroenterology.
  • Doctoral Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy.
  • American Heart Association, Basic Life Support-HCP, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
  • Medical Physician Licensure through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Working knowledge of ICD- and CPT-4.
