Qualifications Required:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic school; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates.
  • Current medical license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
  • Board certified or board eligible.
  • Completion of at least one year of an accredited graduate medical education internship.
  • Completion of a training program in pulmonary medicine.
  • Aged between 21 and 42 years (waivers considered on a case-by-case basis).
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
