Job Summary

The Valet Parking Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service to residents, family members, and guests by providing friendly, efficient, and professional assistance with valet parking services. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide valet parking services to residents and guests, ensuring safe and efficient movement of vehicles to designated parking locations
• Assist residents and guests with carrying their belongings to and from their cars, and provide directions or other helpful information about the local area
• Inspect vehicles for existing flaws and record what is found to limit any claims or disputes
• Manage parking area, including putting up and taking down barricades, directing traffic, and more
• Follow proper safe driving procedures and safety protocol at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of the entry, including the glass doors and windows
• Deliver packages and groceries when required
• Manage name plate installation for resident parking
• Escalate issues to management or other team members as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with car stacker systems preferred
• Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record card at time of hire
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Bilingual Spanish speaking abilities preferred
• Ability to work flexible work hours due to demands of position; work schedules will include some evenings and weekends
• Ability to drive vehicles with both standard and automatic transmissions
• Ability to monitor and coordinate basic car servicing, such as changing oil or tires, jumping a car, and more
• Position requires driving responsibilities
• Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Coterie's Motor Vehicle Record Policy standards
