Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Patient Experience Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors in our Emergency Department.

As a Patient Experience Representative, you will be the first point of contact for many patients and families, setting the tone for their experience at Boston Children's Hospital. You will be responsible for scheduling patient encounters and procedures, answering and screening telephone calls, and responding to requests for routine information or assisting within the scope of your knowledge and authority.

You will also collaborate and communicate with referring providers and practices to facilitate the management of complex patient issues, greet and direct patients, families, and visitors, and monitor daily schedules and patient flow to optimize resource utilization and patient experience.

To qualify for this role, you must have superb customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, strong computing skills, and the ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously. A minimum of five shifts in a six-week period are required, including some weekend shifts and holiday shifts. You must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
