As a key team member of the Workday sales team, you will be responsible for assisting in the solution development, definition of deployment approach, cost estimate, and optimal phasing of all strategic Financial and Professional Services Automation Subscription and Professional Services opportunity support activities in your area.
Responsibilities:- Understand the competitive landscape and prospect needs to effectively position the value of Workday's innovative Financial and Professional Services Automation solutions within the Workday ecosystem.
- Work with the sales team to position the optimal financial customer experience and deployment approach for prospect accounts.
- Conduct Financial and Professional Services Automation centric graphical discovery sessions with new and existing customers to facilitate an approach to applying Workday use cases to meet business objectives.
- Drive detailed discovery to help prospects formulate end-to-end solutions using Workday Financials and Professional Services Automation and strategic third party solutions as part of their initial Workday deployment or as an extension to their Workday platform.
- Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with Workday Service Partners.
- Up to 50% travel.
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in the Professional Services industry vertical, including detailed knowledge in at least one of the following sub-industries: Accounting, Staffing Agencies, Consulting, Engineering, Business Process Outsourcing, or Data Analytics/Research.
Experience with or exposure to top vendors, products, and services in Enterprise application space specifically related to the Professional Services Industry is a plus. 5+ years of Financials and Analytics Project Delivery Experience or functional practitioner experience is required. 3+ years of services sales experience in a business-to-business environment is preferable, but not required.
Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent work experience, MBA is preferred. Executive level verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage time and resources to support critical sales cycles, and team player with capability of working independently are essential.
