Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to lead our apartment communities in Columbus, Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and engaging team environment, ensuring a comfortable and safe community for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals to provide exceptional service to our residents.
  • Maintain high occupancy levels and ensure timely completion of move-out paperwork.
  • Conduct unit inspections and review rental applications for approval.
  • Collect and deposit all monies due to the community, including rent.
  • Audit resident files and ensure they are complete and accurate.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to address audit findings and maintain positive relationships with community owners and residents.
  • Process community invoices and staff payroll, and maintain adequate supplies.
  • Complete reports required by government agencies and the Company, and maintain the community to Company standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience as a residential property manager, with HUD/Section 8 experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Excellent analytical and financial skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Valid driver's license.
