The OpportunityWe're looking for energetic and passionate leaders to manage the people, processes, and technology that make One Medical unique. As an Office Medical Director, you'll have the chance to lead your local team in demonstrating clinical excellence and practicing sustainability. In collaboration with your manager, the District Medical Director, and your operations partner, the Office Manager, you'll solve problems and shape our organizational priorities.
You'll be responsible for managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits, and treating patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits. You'll also manage a team of in-office providers, ensuring that they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
- Conduct a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits
- Manage a team of in-office providers, ensuring they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs
- Guide and support providers' professional development
- Partner with Office Manager to support a collaborative, positive office community
- Manage communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams
- Represent One Medical to the local community
We're looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or have completed a residency program in the last 5 years
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year managing a team of providers
- Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
- State licensed in Texas, obtained before your One Medical start date
