Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Custodian Event Setup Assistant to join our team at Louisiana State University. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining event spaces, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and arrange furniture, tables, and chairs for events and functions
- Prepare and arrange food and beverage services, including ice and coffee
- Assist with outdoor events, including setting up vendor spaces and cleaning up after events
- Perform general custodial duties, including cleaning and maintaining event spaces
Requirements:
- No experience required for Custodian 1 position
- 6 months of experience in custodial, housekeeping, grounds keeping, or food service work for Custodian 2 position
Working Conditions:
This is a 5-day a week position, Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. Nights and weekends may be required as needed.
