Catering Assistant Job Summary

The Raising Cane's River Center, managed by ASM Global, is seeking a highly skilled Catering Assistant to join our Food and Beverage team. This part-time position is responsible for assisting the Catering Manager with all catering and banquet activities in our multi-venue facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless client events by conducting thorough checks of food standards, room setup, and on-time service, resulting in client satisfaction.
  • Assist the Catering Manager in monitoring and managing catering staff to ensure adherence to ASM Global and Raising Cane's River Center HR policies and procedures.
  • Resolve client concerns promptly and effectively before and during events.
  • Collaborate with the Catering Manager to create and manage staffing assignments for banquets and catered events.
  • Train catering staff to achieve Raising Cane's River Center standards for catering services and HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain proper inventory of bars during catering events.
  • Prepare and distribute banquet event orders to all departments as required.
  • Process banquet event orders, monitor changes, client requests, and special needs.
  • Monitor catering events from start to finish.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

  • Two to four years of hospitality management experience in a catering environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two plus years of F & B supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to pass Background and References checks.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, planning, organizational, and inter-personal skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Oral and written communication skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel.
Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
