Job Summary:

The Glass Production Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of glass manufacturing equipment, adhering to quality control standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate glass manufacturing equipment, including tempering machines, to produce high-quality glass products.
  • Monitor and control the glass production process, ensuring compliance with quality control standards and company policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Collaborate with production crew members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Train new operators on equipment operation and quality control procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in machine operating in a manufacturing setting.
  • Basic understanding of glass handling techniques, glass quality specifications, and fundamental techniques of quality control.
  • Knowledge of tempering technology and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:

The Glass Production Operator will work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working in a team environment.
