Job Summary

Qualdoc is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our quality control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, measurements, and tests on products to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement measurement routines based on product specifications
  • Measure customer parts using advanced measurement technologies, including CMM and optical systems
  • Verify out-of-tolerance measurement acquisitions using alternative means, such as hand tools
  • Generate inspection reports in Microsoft Excel, adhering to AS9102 and ISO 17025 standards
  • Write or run CMM programs using PC-DMIS software
  • Maintain confidentiality regulations while working in the laboratory
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic calculations
  • Knowledge of hand tools, including calipers, micrometers, and pin gages
  • Ability to think analytically and problem-solve
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to read blueprints
Preferred Attributes:
  • 3 years of experience in advanced measurement tools, such as CMM programming and/or operation, Keyence Optical systems, Romer/Faro Arm programming and operation
  • Fluency in laboratory software: PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, Discus
  • Fluency in GD&T
