Team Introduction: The Global Markets Pre-Trade IT division is dedicated to delivering dependable and timely IT solutions for the Global Macro (Rates, FX), Equity/Securities Lending, and Credit sectors. This team engages in various stages of application development, including gathering user requirements, analysis, design, implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance, all within an agile framework.
Role Summary: We are seeking an associate or vice president-level IT Business Analyst to support the Global Macro business line, particularly with a strong understanding of Fixed Income products, trades, and operations (Interest Rate Derivatives, Interest Rate Term Structures, FX, etc.). The ideal candidate will concentrate on collecting requirements from traders, drafting business specifications, creating mockup screens or Proof of Concepts (PoC), collaborating with IT developers, defining and executing test scripts, and coordinating with end-users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, the candidate will assist in planning and reporting on project status.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with FX & Rates desks to build a trusting relationship with traders and comprehend their needs and requirements. Formalize and document business requirements. Work alongside product owners to translate those requirements into actionable development tasks. Create mockups or PoCs as needed. Define and carry out test scripts. Organize user acceptance testing with traders. Document processes and enhance our knowledge repository.Important Note: Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S.A. indefinitely. Please be aware that visa or permanent residence sponsorship will not be provided.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $X and $Y. Natixis is mandated by law to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skill set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is just one component of our comprehensive rewards package. Natixis also offers an extensive benefits package, and you may qualify for a discretionary incentive award based on company and individual performance.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interest rates derivatives and FX trading/risk as a business analyst in a front office environment.
• Strong understanding of quantitative finance principles.
• Familiarity with market data, market making, and pre-trade concepts.
• Proficient in developing Excel spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of Python or C# is a plus.
