Job Summary:

The Social Work Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the process of responding to referrals and other requests for services and information. This includes assessing individuals of all ages and collaborating with physicians to determine a proper disposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess individuals of all ages and collaborate with physicians to determine a proper disposition
  • Provide technical assistance to the discharge planning process under the direction of the Director of A&R
  • Provide general support to the case management program

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in a human relations field preferred
  • Preferably two or more years' experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Georgia as a mental health professional, recommended
