We are in search of a Fleet Operations Coordinator to become an integral part of our organization.

In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with our commercial vehicle operators to guarantee the safe and efficient functioning of self-driving vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include preparing for vehicle journeys, monitoring vehicle conditions, documenting events, providing essential information to the operators, and assisting the fleet and operations teams.

Your responsibilities will include...

  • Collaborating with Waabi engineers to set up vehicle systems for both manual and autonomous journeys.
  • Observing vehicle system status from the front right seat during operational trips.
  • Documenting on-road occurrences during trips to enhance the performance of the autonomous vehicle system.
  • Supplying vehicle system data to the operator to facilitate comprehensive monitoring of vehicle behavior.
  • Coordinating with the operations team to ensure effective and timely communication among operators, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assisting the operations team with vehicle system inspections, maintenance, and recordkeeping.
  • Upholding a safe and organized work environment at the facility.
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a relevant role, such as logistics or operations, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Open-minded and collaborative team player with a readiness to assist others.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • A passion for contributing to an organization focused on advancing self-driving technologies.
Additional Information:

  • This position does not involve driving and does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • The role necessitates sitting in a vehicle for extended periods, with occasional breaks for rest and meals.
  • The Fleet Operations Coordinator may need to work on weekends or holidays to support operations.
  • Travel may be required to facilitate out-of-area vehicle trips.
  • Must be comfortable with late-night and weekend shifts.
