Role Description:

MiTek is on the lookout for a motivated and creative Video Production Intern to join our vibrant marketing team. This part-time, compensated internship presents a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in producing engaging product and lifestyle videos that will enhance our marketing initiatives and resonate with our target audience. As a Video Production Intern, you will be instrumental in promoting our audio technology solutions and supporting our mission to inform, protect, and entertain the Universe through innovative approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Video Production: Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize, plan, and film product videos, lifestyle segments, and promotional content that highlight our audio and technology offerings.
  • Storyboarding: Work alongside the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects.
  • Equipment Management: Operate and maintain video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio tools.
  • Basic Editing: Enhance your editing and post-production skills by collaborating with our Visual Communications Specialist and utilizing industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) to produce captivating and polished videos.
  • Content Optimization: Ensure videos are tailored for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to align video content with marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Research: Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and techniques in video production to infuse fresh ideas and creativity into our projects.
Qualifications:

Education:
Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Video Production.

Experience:
Relevant coursework, portfolio submission required. Familiarity with video production equipment and software, including lighting and cameras. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is preferred.
