Role Overview:

The Video Content Creator and Producer will be an integral part of our on-site production team. This position demands a blend of technical expertise, creative insight, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills, along with a solid understanding of social media dynamics. The individual will be expected to travel with the influencer as needed, ensuring that any additional videographers on set are quickly oriented. The primary focus will be on producing short-form content both in-studio and on location, functioning effectively as a field producer.

By maintaining this versatile role in Arizona, we aim to enhance our production workflow, guarantee consistency in content quality, and concentrate on generating viral-worthy material for various social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute video shoots while traveling, coordinating logistics, equipment, and schedules with the support of the Coordinator.
  • Capture high-quality video footage of the influencer in diverse settings and scenarios.
  • Conduct and film interviews with the influencer and other relevant individuals encountered during travel.
  • Manage and maintain all video and audio equipment, ensuring it is properly packed and functional for travel.
  • Collaborate with the influencer to brainstorm content ideas and narratives that align with project objectives.
  • Adapt swiftly to changing environments and unforeseen circumstances while traveling.
  • Direct a small crew or work independently to capture necessary footage and audio.
  • Ensure optimal lighting and sound quality in various and often unpredictable locations.
  • Organize and manage digital assets, including regular backups of footage while on the road.
  • Perform preliminary editing and review of footage during downtime to confirm all necessary content is captured.
  • Maintain clear communication with the production team, providing regular updates and sharing content as required.
  • Adhere to project timelines and budget constraints while traveling and in-studio.
  • Ensure all necessary releases and permissions are secured for filming in different locations.
  • Be prepared to capture spontaneous moments and opportunities that arise during travel.
  • Foster a strong working relationship with the main subject, balancing professional requirements with personal boundaries during extended travel periods.
  • Assist in producing additional content (video/photo) for social media platforms to support other primary projects.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise in remote and challenging environments.
