Position Overview:

  • Utilize fabrication expertise to manufacture, customize, and assemble components according to design specifications, assisting team members as needed.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to verify compliance with specifications and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering and receiving materials, while maintaining safety awareness in the shop.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Review customer quotes, specifications, and drawings to create bills of materials and determine necessary fabrication methods.
  • Coordinate freight shipments as required.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Document project changes and manage approvals through change notices.
  • Track project milestones and lead recovery plans when necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Facilitate weekly safety meetings with employees.
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections of the facility and schedule maintenance for vehicles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in fabrication.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of cutting, bending, and welding techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $46, $55,773.35 annually
