Manufacturing Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team at Cummins in Florence, SC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the manufacturing operations of our 1st shift team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide manufacturing leadership and improvement focus in operations, driving results, creating and monitoring measures, providing motivation, and setting expectations in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, shop floor, stakeholders, and staff.
- Lead annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for manufacturing operations.
- Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.
- Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, and budgetary experience, required.
- Assist the team in diagnosing problems and implementing necessary modifications.
- Serve as a liaison between other teams and operating systems.
- Recognize and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Hold communication meetings on a regular basis to facilitate performance and respond to employee needs.
- Assure that operating budgets are within forecasted levels.
- Drive continuous improvement through the process.

- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $100,000-$150,000. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
