Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loan Consultant to join our team at Tri Pointe Homes Holdings, Inc. As a Loan Consultant, you will be responsible for handling a large pipeline of loans and meeting/exceeding monthly production goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze customer financial information to assess loan eligibility and manage a heavy volume pipeline for multiple states.
  • Advise potential borrowers on loan alternatives, including risks and benefits, and discuss available loan products to meet individual needs.
  • Obtain necessary documentation to ensure loan approval and communicate effectively with all parties involved.
  • Perform rate lock functions, negotiate interest rates, and manage personal production to ensure timely closings.
  • Meet and/or exceed company benchmarks and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of processing or origination experience, preferably within a builder environment.
  • NMLS State license in multiple states, including CA, WA, CO, NV, AZ, TX, NC, SC, VA, DC, MD.
  • Thorough knowledge of all mortgage products, including FHA, VA, and Conventional loans.
  • Working knowledge of loan origination systems, Encompass a plus.
  • Strong overall computer skills, specifically Microsoft office products.
