Certified Ambulatory Nurse

The University of New Mexico Hospitals seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at the SE Heights Clinic. As a Certified Ambulatory Nurse, you will provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting. You will also provide clinical leadership for staff, serve as a role model, and ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
About the Role:
- Provide full range of patient education to patients and family members.
- Assist physician with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments.
- Process data and generate reports; assist in the reception and discharge areas; handle patient calls and triage using documentation.
Requirements:
- Essential: Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate, RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM, CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days.
- Nonessential: Bachelor's Degree, Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo, 3 years directly related experience.
