About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, competent, and compassionate nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.

Requirements
  • Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
  • Two (2) years OR experience as both scrub and circulator required.
  • Current Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) and CRNFA. If no BSN then CNOR, RNAS-C and CRNFA required upon hire.
  • Must maintain currency with both CNOR and CRNFA and/or RNAS-C certifications for employment.
  • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS. NRP if working in obstetrical areas.
  • Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
  • Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
