About the Role

As a Biopharmaceutical Application Specialist for Fluid Management at Sartorius North America, you will be responsible for delivering expert product knowledge and application support to customers throughout their entire process. Your primary goal is to ensure successful product implementation, qualification, and use by providing comprehensive technical assistance, sales support, and customer training.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support Sales organization as first point of technical contact on existing Fluid Management Technologies (FMT) products through product presentations, trainings, demonstrations, trials, and application studies.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Specialists on new products via beta site testing and product demonstrations.
  • Provide field-based support in the Greater Boston Region from a home-based office, with additional responsibilities covering the New England area including customers in NY, NH, CT, and other locations.

You will work closely with the Sales team to support the customer process, URS analysis, and generate application trials to help position products in line with application requirements. Additionally, you will provide technical qualification of sales opportunities and facilitate Technical Closure of the sale. Your duties will include assisting customers with their first product run, initial start-up, and ensuring their proper training. You will also contribute to regional marketing initiatives, trade shows, product launches, etc., and support the Quality Department in quality complaint processes by troubleshooting and analyzing customer processes for better investigation and resolution.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science Biology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in R&D/PD/Scale-up/GMP.
  • Minimum 2 years of Single Use product and application expertise.
  • Daily travel within assigned territory, up to 25% overnight travel required.
