  • Work closely with direct supervisors to drive department profitability.
  • Oversee documentation and recordkeeping processes.
  • Direct merchandising and display strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with manufacturers.
  • Conduct or supervise annual physical inventory counts.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings.
  • Promote effective employee relations.
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above company standards.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Engage in required training sessions.
  • Accurately record all hours worked in the company timekeeping system.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The qualifications outlined below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position:

  • Education: GED, High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
  • Field of Study/Experience: Background in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or Information Technology.
  • Experience: Management or supervisory experience is preferred, along with strong interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of automotive systems and parts.
  • Certificates and Licenses: Automobile Salesperson License is a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning the parts department's inventory and ordering system.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, as well as effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Attendance Expectations: Regular and predictable attendance is essential, with potential shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires frequent standing, walking, and sitting, with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
