About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at Eau Gallie Electric. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in the growth and success of our construction practice, specializing in commercial and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for a wide range of projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are covered.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information and ensure estimates reflect the full scope of the project.
  • Utilize industry-standard estimating software to create precise and reliable estimates, and assess and recommend estimating tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the estimating process.
  • Oversee and manage customer RFPs, other proposal documents, and bid analysis to ensure thorough and competitive submissions.
  • Mentor and build a high-performing estimating team, providing guidance and support to junior estimators.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years GC estimating experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
