The Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is in search of a Price/Cost Manager 2 to enhance our diverse team of professionals. The primary responsibilities include overseeing Price/Cost Analysis for significant Subcontracts and General Procurement cost proposals, supporting ongoing activities and prime proposal efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a Price/Cost, Quality, and Compliance Team, supporting both prime proposals and supplier proposal evaluations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all major proposal-related activities within the portfolio, escalating issues to senior management as necessary.
  • Ensure all proposals meet customer, program, and company requirements.
  • Manage team personnel, providing coaching and guidance to enhance their careers.
  • Develop cost models to support supplier proposal analysis and negotiation.
  • Analyze supplier operations to identify factors influencing pricing and conduct cost audits of supplier proposals.
  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate technical evaluations into cost analyses.
  • Compile data to develop objective cost analysis positions for ongoing procurements.
  • Prepare Price/Cost Analysis Reports (PCAR) and management presentations summarizing evaluations.
  • Summarize findings and provide recommendations to Global Supply Chain and Program Management.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on regulations, price trends, and manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals for compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements.
  • Participate in fact-finding sessions and request audits when applicable.
  • Maintain records and supporting data for proposals.
  • Support internal proposal quality reviews.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Pricing and Estimating, Strategic Sourcing, Subcontracts Management, or Contracts Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience in cost accounting, pricing, and estimating methods.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Business.
  • Experience with DCMA/DCAA.
  • Familiarity with SAP and historical job cost analysis.
  • Knowledge of government contract environments (FAR and DFARS).
