We're seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and help them maintain their independence.

Job Summary:

The Home Care Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care services to clients in their homes, under the supervision of a licensed nurse or care designer. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
  • Observe and report any changes in client's physical, mental, or emotional condition.
  • Document all care provided and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow principles of infection control and universal precautions.
  • Perform other tasks as determined by the licensed professional and permissible under Arizona law.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Registered on the Arizona State Health Care Aide Registry.
  • Minimum one year of documented experience preferred.
  • Certified in CPR.
  • Criminal background check clearance.
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Licensed driver with automobile insured according to the organization's requirements.
  • Empathy for the needs of the client.
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to express spoken and/or written ideas in English.
