Home Health Assistant

We are seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as senior caregivers. As a HomeWell Care Services caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors who need your support.
About the Role:
- You will assist seniors with their daily living activities, including companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
- You may also provide transportation and personal care such as bathing and dressing, depending on each client's needs.
Qualifications:
- We prefer candidates with 1,000 hours of experience working with elderly or chronically ill individuals (about 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time).
- CNA or HHA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- You must be physically able to perform duties, including safe client transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and auto insurance is necessary if transporting clients.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- You must be mature, caring, punctual, and reliable to build trust with clients.
- You must be able to pass national and state-required criminal background checks.
- Verifiable professional and personal references are needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will implement care plans by reviewing and following each client's personalized care plan to provide appropriate assistance.
- You will provide comprehensive support, which may include companionship, meal prep, housekeeping, transportation, shopping, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility assistance, safe transfers, toileting, and protective supervision.
- You will communicate and advocate for clients by informing the Care Manager of any client concerns, changes in condition, or emergencies.
- You will ensure safety and compliance by adhering to infection control practices and requesting PPE or supplies as needed.
- You will manage time and documentation by using ClearCare Telephony to clock in/out and update task status before leaving the client's home.
- You will maintain professionalism by following the company dress code and exhibiting professional behavior.
- You will demonstrate dependability and teamwork by being punctual, participating in training and meetings, and adhering to company policies.
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
