Aircraft Maintenance Manager

The Principal Aircraft Maintenance Technician is a critical role within our Flight Operations team at American Family Insurance. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our corporate business jets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the aircraft maintenance program, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements.
- Oversee the completion of scheduled inspections and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft, performing inspections and maintenance tasks hands-on and in-house when possible.
- Direct the use of cabin amenities, including advanced technology features, and support galley and food services as needed.
- Ensure proper rest prior to reporting for work to manage fatigue and actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) program.
- Support established security procedures that protect passengers, aircraft, and the Flight Operations hangar facility, coordinating with all Flight Operations personnel to maintain a high level of aircraft and facility security awareness.
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated maintenance experience on corporate business jets or comparable.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to the development of company or department safety management processes.
- Valid FAA Mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating, and strongly prefer a valid FAA Inspection Authorization designation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work with exposure to fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
