We are in search of a meticulous and analytical Fleet Analyst to enhance our client's operations. The ideal candidate will leverage fleet management systems to maximize fleet efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring the organization’s fleet requirements are met comprehensively. This will involve collaboration with branch managers, regional directors, safety personnel, and the fleet management team.

This is a full-time direct hire position offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, 401k, a hybrid work model (2 days in-office and 3 days remote), and paid time off.

The candidate must be willing to travel to designated sites for the required in-office days each week. A background in Fleet Management and proficiency in MS Excel is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay informed on federal, state, and local regulations affecting fleet operations, including vehicle inspections, emissions standards, and driver licensing.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data regarding fleet performance, fuel usage, maintenance expenses, and vehicle utilization.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to enhance fleet performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance, vehicle uptime, and repair turnaround times.
  • Organize and manage the fleet's telematics requirements.
  • Track vehicle replacement needs and coordinate with fleet management to ensure timely processes.
  • Work with the safety team to integrate new and updated safety features.
  • Assess fleet management processes and collaborate with leadership to implement improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports and dashboards to management, emphasizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
  • Partner with fleet management providers and business leaders to strategize future vehicle requirements and orders.
  • Oversee licensing and title requirements in accordance with fleet standards.
  • Monitor advancements in fleet technology to enhance overall safety and performance.
  • Collaborate with vehicle upfitters to establish and implement specifications and requirements for delivery trucks.
  • Track and monitor vehicles throughout the build process to ensure adherence to specifications and timelines at final delivery.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers, including negotiating contracts and service agreements.
  • Assess vendor performance to guarantee high-quality and cost-effective services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills across various organizational levels.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of independently seeking solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with fleet management software (currently utilizing Wheels) and GPS tracking systems.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, not exceeding 25%.
  • Demonstrated experience in fleet management or logistics.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
