Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Frequency Sonar Software Specialist to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin.

This is a challenging role that involves designing, implementing, and testing real-time and data analysis software applications to support the development of high-frequency tactical sonar systems.

You will work closely with our team of engineers and scientists to meet project deadlines and milestones, and will be responsible for designing and integrating sonar software or hardware with other systems or platforms.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be responsible for profiling and verifying signal processing or control algorithms, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and documenting and presenting your work.

To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and relevant experience in software development and system integration.

The estimated salary for this role is $130,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on experience.
