This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to perform routine and complex EEGs, Video EEG in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Long Term (EEG) monitoring, Evoked Potentials (EPs) and other specialized procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurodiagnostics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing EEGs, Video EEG, and other neurodiagnostic procedures
  • Ensuring electrode and technical integrity and quality of all Neurodiagnostic procedures performed
  • Participating in departmental and organizational programs, including performance improvement activities, in-services and staff development activities

Requirements include:

  • Graduate from an accredited training program in Neurodiagnostics
  • At least two years' experience in an acute care hospital setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
  • Experience with diagnostic medical equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skill in dealing with patients, family, caregivers, physicians, and clinical staff
  • Proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, and online communication
