Role Responsibilities:
As an Aviation Maintenance Specialist, you will be accountable to your direct supervisor for executing all assigned tasks in alignment with the company's policies, procedures, and specifications established by relevant authorities and manufacturers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting line maintenance (both scheduled and on-call) on various aircraft.
  • Performing routine maintenance and airworthiness inspections, ensuring aircraft are returned to service safely.
  • Servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, engines, and associated components, while meeting deadlines and performance targets.
  • Troubleshooting systems and performing disassembly, repair, and reassembly of components to maintain operational integrity according to approved technical data.
  • Ensuring all departing aircraft comply with safety regulations as per FARs and manufacturer manuals, with all work accurately documented.
  • Executing line maintenance tasks and activities as assigned.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance control center of the air carrier as necessary.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • Experience as an aircraft technician with familiarity in B767 & B737 models.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent line maintenance experience, particularly in troubleshooting and daily checks, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and utilize hand and finger dexterity frequently, including climbing and working at heights.
  • Ability to lift, push, or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, while being aware of working near moving mechanical parts and exposure to various environmental conditions.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical information in English.
  • Successful completion of airport security background checks and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, to accommodate customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging professionally with flight crews.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision.
