Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Hearing Technologies Program at the University of Michigan. As the Senior Manager of Hearing Technologies, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, including personnel management, financial management, and strategic development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of hearing aid technicians and audiologists to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with revenue cycle, finance, and audiology leadership to review and manage device prices and ensure compliance with billing and insurance regulations.
  • Develop and manage the program's budget and financial plan to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Provide strategic direction and vision for the program, including developing goals and priorities in collaboration with audiology leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Considerable knowledge of university and departmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and other stakeholders.
  • Experience working with hearing aids and audiologists, with knowledge of purchasing and billing practices.
