Job Title: Housekeeping Department Manager

At The Aspenwood Company - The Crestmoore at Green Hills, we are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Department Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of housekeepers, coordinating staffing schedules, and ensuring the proper cleaning of offices, public areas, residences, and common spaces. Essential Duties:

  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Cleaning Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning programs, including annual deep cleans, move-in preparations, window, and carpet cleaning.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order necessary supplies and equipment, and ensure safe handling and storage practices.
  • Assisting Staff: Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning duties as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Safety and Security: Strive to maintain a safe working environment by preventing accidents, preserving equipment, and promoting safe working practices.
  • Reporting: Promptly report any safety or security incidents to the Director of Plant Operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of related experience, with preference given to those with housekeeping experience.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Compassion: Compassion for and desire to work with seniors.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to direct the work of others in a professional and compassionate manner.
