About the Role:

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is a vital member of our team at the State of Indiana. This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all guest rooms and maintaining the high standards of our hotel. As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will be working closely with housekeeping managers to monitor daily tasks, inspect vacant rooms, and ensure that all required amenities and linens are stocked daily.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting all vacant rooms daily in assigned areas and spot-checking occupied rooms as needed
  • Ensuring all required amenities and linens are stocked daily in each guest room according to standards
  • Assisting housekeeping managers with office duties and back-of-house duties, as needed, including but not limited to, lost and found, shipping, and daily office procedures
  • Maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude toward guests

Requirements:
  • A strong leader who can motivate and inspire others
  • Requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a focus on quality
  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management/supervision is strongly preferred
  • Flexible to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Task-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities
