About the Role

As a Patient Experience Specialist at AdventHealth, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients and their families receive exceptional care and service. This is a full-time position working days, with a focus on creating a positive and supportive environment for all individuals who interact with our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily rounding on newly admitted patients to identify and address any concerns or needs.
  • Serve as a problem-solver, working with patients, families, and staff to resolve issues and improve the patient experience.
  • Provide immediate service recovery as needed, communicating with the Director and Risk Management as necessary.
  • Enter rounding information daily on the Patient Experience report and share with the management team.
  • Collaborate with the Emergency Department team to provide rounding and service recovery as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the patient and family experience, with a focus on preventing negative impacts on patient care.
