We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a Clinical Staff member in the Perioperative Services department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with education and experience, ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Assessment and Planning: Collects and documents assessment data from patients and/or others per UAMS standard. Develops patient's Plan of Care (POC) per department/unit standards utilizing assessment data.
  • Medication Administration: Administers medication following department/unit standards and Nurse Practice Act.
  • Quality Assurance: Verifies and evaluates care delivered to ensure it is consistent with patient and family centered care principles, practice standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Nursing Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
  • Licensure and Certification: Valid RN License and one (1) year Registered Nursing experience in PACU, Critical Care, Emergency Room or two (2) years of other RN experience.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
