Job Title: Cook

At Huddle House, we're seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food to our high standards, ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food in a timely manner, adhering to Huddle House standards.
  • Stock and prepare the unit for the next shift, completing the position checklist.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized, using all tools provided by the manager.
  • Bring any concerns, including safety issues and customer complaints, to the attention of the manager immediately.
  • Know the menu, daily features, and ensure they are cooked and presented correctly.
  • Practice all rules for safety, food handling, cash security, and restaurant policies.
  • Perform prepping and cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Control waste and portion control to make a positive impact on food cost.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and maintain a positive attitude during your shift.
Requirements:
  • Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Mobility is necessary during the entire shift.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and assist in other areas if needed.
