Job Title: Intake Registered Nurse

Perimeter Healthcare is seeking a skilled Intake Registered Nurse to join our team at Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Dallas. As an Intake Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the admissions process, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and triage in-bound calls and referrals to determine the level of care required
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to schedule assessments and arrange for patient admission
  • Verify insurance information and process pre-certifications as needed
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics, providing support to the outcome study and other data initiatives
Requirements:
  • Valid RN license with the State of Texas
  • Experience in behavioral health assessment and/or treatment
  • At least one-year previous experience in an acute behavioral health hospital preferred
