Job Title: Intake Registered Nurse

Perimeter Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled Intake Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Intake Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the admissions process, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the intake process, including receiving referrals, obtaining demographic information, and scheduling assessments.
  • Process requests for information and external referrals, and complete pre-certifications as needed.
  • Assist in arranging for patient admission, including verifying benefits and initiating calls to physicians and other related tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics, and provide support to the Outcome Study and other data initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, practicing good standards of customer service.
Requirements:
  • Valid RN license with the State of Texas.
  • Experience in behavioral health assessment and/or treatment.
  • At least one year of previous experience in an acute behavioral health hospital preferred.
