Job Summary:

Washington Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and support to residents and their families, promoting a positive and compassionate care environment.
  • Monitor residents' health and administer medication and treatments as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Document resident care services by charting in resident and department records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, promoting a clean and safe environment.
  • Resolve resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assure quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care, upholding the highest standards of patient care.
  • Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential, respecting their trust and dignity.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Current State Registered Nurse (RN) License, ensuring you meet the necessary qualifications and certifications.
  • Long-Term Care experience preferred, but not required, as we provide comprehensive training and support.
  • Solid computer skills, with working knowledge of MS Office, enabling you to efficiently manage patient records and communicate with colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
