About the Role

The FFT Therapist role provides community-based intensive counseling services to youth and their families utilizing the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Model. This position requires flexibility in hours to meet family availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and/or weekends, working within the various locations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide community-based intensive counseling services to youth and their families utilizing the FFT Model.
  • Meet with families to assess their needs and develop a treatment plan.
  • Work with families to identify and change negative patterns and behaviors.
  • Provide education and support to families on topics such as communication, problem-solving, and coping skills.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting youth and families.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related Human Services field.
  • Ability to meet professional standards, licensure/certification, and/or contract requirements.
  • Flexible to meet family availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and/or weekends.
  • Ability to travel.
