Job Title: Functional Family Therapist

AMIkids NC Family Services, Inc is seeking a skilled Functional Family Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will provide community-based intensive counseling services to youth and their families utilizing the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide FFT services to youth and their families in a community-based setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each family
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, social workers, and law enforcement, to ensure comprehensive support for youth and families
  • Conduct home visits, individual and family therapy sessions, and group sessions as needed
  • Document progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
  • Ability to meet professional standards, licensure/certification, and/or contract requirements
  • Flexibility to meet family availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel to various locations in the North Carolina - Elizabeth City area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mental health experience, particularly in FFT or similar models
  • Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS)
