Family Centered Treatment Therapist Opportunity

Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. is seeking a qualified Family Centered Treatment Therapist to join our team in Pitt County, NC.

Job Summary

This position provides a full range of mental health therapy services for clients with complicated mental health disorders using the Family Centered Treatment model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent diagnostic and psycho-social evaluations and therapy services focusing on complicated mental health issues, family issues, parenting issues, adolescent issues, and substance abuse and addiction issues.
  • Evaluate client and family situations, conduct comprehensive clinical interviews, and develop person-centered plans.
  • Provide in-depth therapy, including crisis intervention and treatment of complex co-occurring mental health and personality disorders.
  • Offer individual, group, and family counseling adapted for persons with physical disabilities or co-occurring disorders.
Qualifications

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service field, or a Master's degree in a related field with two years of experience. The ideal candidate will meet the requirements under 10A NCAC 27G.0104 as a Qualified Professional for Mental Health.
