Float Pool CNA 2 Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) to join our Float Pool team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. As a CNA 2, you will assist Registered Nurses (RNs) in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients by performing specified duties and functions under their direct supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist RNs in providing patient care, including vital signs, bathing, and dressing
  • Perform specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of RNs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or equivalent education/experience
  • CNA 2 coursework: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
