Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a CNA 2, you will assist a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Neurovascular unit.

Responsibilities
  • Perform specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
  • Assist with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the RN.
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements
  • Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year experience as a CNA 2.
