Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant 2 to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a CNA 2, you will assist a Registered Nurse in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients. This is a.9 FTE, night shift position with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a high-functioning team and assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights.
  • Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests.
  • Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices.
  • Opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference.
Requirements
  • Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or equivalent education/experience.
  • CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
