Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Documentation: Collect and organize loan documentation promptly and accurately, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Loan Application Review: Support Loan Officers in reviewing and completing loan applications, assessing applicant credit standings through thorough research, and submitting loan applications for underwriting review.
  • Loan Processing: Coordinate effectively with Loan Officers and assistants, ordering necessary appraisals and verifications, tracking loan processing status, and maintaining records.
  • Customer Service: Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate loan options, managing paperwork for existing and new loans, including disclosures, and ensuring compliance with regulations and laws.
  • Closing Documentation: Handle closing documentation and follow up with clients, assisting with additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of mortgage experience preferred.
  • Skills: Basic understanding of underwriting terminology and real estate trends, proficiency in standard software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook), effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service focus.
  • Certifications: Knowledge of escrow processes, valid driver's license, and background check required.
